The Underlying Conditions Seminar: Nihilism is an Underlying Condition for Death in Police Custody

In this talk Dr. Keel shares his preliminary work on death in police custody across the United States. Drawing on case studies which include the public murder of George Floyd, Keel details how nihilism appears in the work of forensic pathologists and medical examiners who obscure police accountability for citizens killed with preexisting conditions while under custody.
