Academic Coordinator, Rank 1 (Fiscal Year)
The Institute for Society and Genetics (ISG) invites applicants for an Academic Coordinator (Rank 1). The ideal candidate will help coordinate and manage research in the department, with a core focus on the Livescu Initiative in Neuro, Narrative and AI (NNAI). ISG is a multi-disciplinary department in the Division of Life Sciences at UCLA which conducts novel research at the intersection of the biology, social science and the humanities. NNAI is a donor-funded four-year research project that brings a humanities-forward approach to the ethical and intellectual challenges created by new neuroscience and AI advances. This is a full-time two-year position, with the possibility of renewal, contingent on funding.
