ISG Professor Aaron Panofsky is named a 2020 Andrew Carnegie Fellow

Congratulations to Aaron Panofsky, vice chair of academic personnel and  Associate Professor at the Institute for Society and Genetics, Public Policy, and Sociology, at UCLA, who was named a 2020 Andrew Carnegie Fellow on May 22, 2020. The 2020 class of 27 Andrew Carnegie Fellows who were announced will receive $200,000 in philanthropic support for high-caliber scholarly research in the humanities and social sciences that addresses important and enduring issues confronting our society. This year’s fellows will advance research across a wide range of topics, from civic engagement, economic disparities, and strengthening democratic societies to countering extremism and disinformation online, climate change mitigation, and humanitarian aid in the Middle East.
