Biography: Lesley Maradik Harris

Lesley Maradik Harris is a doctoral candidate in Department of Social Welfare, School of Public Affairs at University of California at Los Angeles. Lesley serves as the learning Service Coordinator for The UCLA “Frontiers in Human Aging” Freshmen Cluster and is a Teaching Fellow for the Cluster.  Currently, Lesley is working on her dissertation research in partnership with Save the Children’s HIV Sector to improve the care and support of orphaned grandchildren affected by HIV/AIDS who are living with older caregivers in Vietnam. Her areas of interests are skipped generation caregiving in Vietnam and health status among older immigrants in the U.S
