Valerie Tornini, Awarded the AY2025-2026 Faculty Writing Retreat Grant

Valerie Tornini, Assistant Professor in the Institute for Society and Genetics (ISG), is the recipient of the AY2025-2026 Faculty Writing Retreat Grant.

This grant support self-organized writing retreats designed to foster sustained research, collaboration, and intellectual community among UCLA faculty. This grant program is made possible through the generous support of our campus co-sponsors: the UCLA Division of Social Sciences, UCLA Division of Humanities, UCLA Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Creative Activities, UCLA School of Music, UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture, and the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
