Society & Genetics Research Journal at UCLA

The Society and Genetics Research Journal (SGRJ) is a student-led publication based at the Institute for Society & Genetics (ISG) at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) that publishes interdisciplinary work at the interface of science and society.

The aim of the journal is to provide a platform for UCLA students or affiliates to develop and publish their research in the life sciences, public policy, engineering, environmental studies, ethics, and history that critically engages with the social dimensions of scientific knowledge and discovery. SGRJ is committed to improving access to research spaces by showcasing student voices and making intersectional scholarship more accessible, inclusive, and engaging to a broad academic community.
